Blister packs are suitable for instruments with shank diameters of 2.35 and
3.6 mm as well as our EZ and KMS blades. The instruments are firmly
secured inside the blister pack by means of an insert.
Non-sterile instruments are packed in tubular bags. The tubular bags are
available in different lengths and widths to avoid damage to the blades.
The bags are sealed with welded seams to prevent the instruments from
falling out and provided with perforations to facilitate opening.
Instruments with tight concentricity tolerances are packed in square tubes
to make sure that the correct concentricity is retained during transit.
This is why we not only pack our Shaver Blades in square tubes, but also
certain instruments such as craniotomes. The tube is then packed in a
tubular bag provided with a clearly legible label.
A particularly important criterion for our packaging is to protect our
products from getting damaged during the transport from the production
site in Lemgo to our customers worldwide. The cartons we use are made
of a sturdy material to avoid the boxes from getting crushed on the way
to the customer. A copy of our instructions for use is enclosed with
